Product details

Everest Hoods can be used with Everest Coveralls and Coats with stand-up collars.

Having undergone our decontamination process and, where appropriate, sterilisation, they can be used in cleanrooms and sterile environments compliant with ISO Classes 4 to ISO 8 or A to D classification.

Various models of hoods are available.

Fabric made of 98% polyester and 2% carbon filament yarn that filters contaminants of human origin, while still allowing for ventilation and remaining comfortable

Technical description

Our clothing is manufactured to be compatible with use in cleanrooms:

  • Fabric panels with stitched edges
  • Double folded edgings (ASTM assembly)
  • Fabric especially suited for cleanrooms

Can be adjusted with ties or press buttons.

A fabric or mesh mask can be added.

All fabrics used for cleanroom clothing are fully tested and qualified by our research and development laboratory.
Many tests are conducted to confirm that the fabric's properties will stand up to the different treatments that will be carried out.
Some characteristics of the fabric between 1 and 60 cycles of particle decontamination, with or without sterilisation (qualification report data):
  • Excellent ventilation capacity ensures wearer comfort
  • 98% of particles emitted by the wearer are contained
  • Fewer than 2,000 particles of diameters ≥ 0.3µm emitted by the coverall while working (Body Box test)
  • Fewer than 310 particles of diameter ≥ 0.3µm emitted by the coverallm tested in the Helmke Drum
  • No penetration of bacterial contamination through the fabric
  • Fabric dissipation properties

Ultra-clean Service

Working in a cleanroom requires special clothing and appropriate maintenance.

Our maintenance service includes:

  • Particle decontamination treatment (Category 1 or 2) as per IEST RP CC003.3
  • Autoclave curing sterilisation or radio sterilisation
  • Helmke Drum particle inspection of each batch
  • Traceability of each garment via chip or bar code

The clothing we offer for rent/maintenance can be used in cleanrooms and sterile environments rated ISO Classes 4 to 8 or A to D.
